Welcome to my Website! I am Associate Professor of International Relations at the Department of Political Science at the University of Innsbruck. Since 2021, I am also the Dean of the Innsbruck School of Social and Political Sciences.

In my research, I focus on the the foreign and security policy of states (especially the U.S. and Austria) and on counter-terrorism policies. Furthermore, I investigate methodological questions of studying International Relations and Foreign Policy and I am especially focusing on Discourse Network Analysis and Quantitative Text Analysis.
